Dancing, Swedish folk music, Vikings and traditional Scandinavian cuisine are just a few of the things you’ll find at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival this weekend in Estes Park. The massive, two-day event is filled with folk activities ranging from the display of Viking tools to dancing around the traditional maypole, generally seen as a gathering spot for European festivals.
