Filmage at 7th Circle Music Collective (Friday-Sunday, $10) Finally, the purveyors of teenage-punk angst are captured in a documentary. Filmage tracks the story of the Descendents, the band that made killer pop-punk before Blink 182 and Green Day brought it into the mainstream. Fittingly, the movie will screen at DIY space 7th Circle Music collective, with different bands playing at each screening. Reading at Leon (Saturday, free) Spend your Saturday night with poetry at Leon's first reading of the new year. The space will host performances by Dan Magers, Ella Longpre, Christopher Rosales and Alexis Renee Smith for a mellow evening of literature.
Prelude at the Denver Central Library (Sunday, free) Get lost in a world of black-and-white photography with the Rocky Mtn. Monochrome Salon.
