A variety of chairs, tables, lamps and other neat knick-knacks will be on display and for sale. So come on down have a glass of wine and see what's up.

If anything, you should show up to hear some crazy shit.

Well, the teachers could not kill Pokémon and the game is still going strong. It's free if you're just looking to have fun with it or $10 to play in the masters division.

Pinner Throwback IPA Release Party at Tasty Weasel Tap Room (Saturday, free) The IPA is a tasty brew, but at such high ABV it makes you feel funny if you drink too many of them. Thankfully Oskar Blues crafted a low-alcohol IPA--that doesn't taste too watered down. To celebrate such a feat, join them for a good old-fashioned parking lot party, complete with prizes and giveaways, food trucks, live music, skee-ball tournaments and hot air balloon rides. That's right--we're getting lifted, y'all. Open House & Faculty Reading at Lighthouse Writers Workshop (Saturday, free) Many people fancy themselves as writers. Maybe you write poetry. Maybe you like writing jokes. Hell, you might even write Twilight fan fiction, and that's ok, because the Lighthouse is a place for diction of all sorts. Come out to this little meet-and-greet, hear some readings from faculty members and link up with like minded individuals.

Denver Vintage Reggae Society w/ Keith Scott & Gabby Loks at Goosetown Tavern (Saturday, free) One of the godfathers of rocksteady and ska record labels, Keith Scott, will join the party and add some vinyl to the needle tonight. As if that weren't enough, Gabby Loks, the queen of spinning reggae will be there as well, all the way from Los Angeles. Everything sounds good on vinyl, so get down there and shake that tush.

Wreckin' Roller Rebels Meet n Greet at Derbyville (Sunday, free) If you have ever thought about dipping your feet in the pond of roller derby, today is the day to take the plunge. The Church of Coen Presents: Blood Simple at Syntax Physic Opera (Sunday, free) Sundays are reserved for the lord, and that lord is the Coen brothers, featuring their legion of angels, John Turturro, Frances McDormand, John Goodman and a slew of others. Tonight marks the first of sixteen offerings of church with the Coen brothers. How amazing it will be to return on the second Sunday of every month to have your sins washed away by all of their films.

The Boulder Comedy Show at Bohemian Biergarten (Sunday, $3) A very reliable source for laughs, the Boulder Comedy Show is looking to be better than ever in 2015, bringing in more national headliners and even recording the performances for the Internet in case you miss it. Check out the Facebook page here, to see who this week's special guests will be. It's always a good idea to have a joke to tell around the water cooler on Monday morning.
