Philip K. Dick Festival in Rollinsville/Black Hawk (Friday-Sunday) If you've got a car capable of making it to and from the mountains for under ten bucks, you'll find a massive helping of sci-fi dorkdom up in the mountains this weekend with the Philip K. Dick festival. It's all dick all weekend -- from panels to screenings and beyond. Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival in Leadville (Friday-Saturday) $5 is all you need to get into the Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival this weekend, and you'll be rewarded for your patronage with music, custom builders, live demos and more. It's about time you got your butt off the couch and into a saddle right? Tatts & Tunes at Casselman's (Friday-Sunday) You've been waiting for your chance to get that Denver Broncos tattoo, and there's no better weekend to do it than this one. Tatt's & Tunes is kicking off today and running all weekend, with bands, a car show, contests and most importantly, local tattoo artists working at reduced rates. The event itself is free, so when you treat yourself to your ode to John Elway in tattoo form it won't hurt your wallet. 5th Annual The Stars Come Out at City Hall (Friday) Featured guest ill-esha is slated to rock the party this evening with a healthy dose of glitch-pop and electro, and we've been told she's more than capable of keeping the party hopping all night long. $10 will get you in the door -- everything else is on you. St. Elias CD Release at hi-dive (Friday) For a measly $6 you'll be privileged to be the first to pick up the new record from St. Elias. It's brooding, dark, twangy and loud all at once -- what better way to spend a Friday evening? And you know we already love the flier for this show. Rockaway Tavern grand opening (Friday) If you've been secretly crying at the loss of the 15th Street Tavern in your bedroom every night, cry no more. The Rockaway Tavern is set to open tonight with performances by Eddie Spaghetti, Reno Divorce and Grease Machine. Cowtown Alternative Comix Fest at Tattered Cover LoDo (Saturday) Now's your chance to dip your toe into Denver's burgeoning comic book scene. If you've been on the fence about checking out some our amazing local talent, Saturday is your best opportunity at catching all of them in one room at once. Best of all it's free.

Ladies Night at Funky Buddha (Saturday) Hey ladies, interested in $1 well drinks from 9-11pm while DJ Wushu spins some electro and hip-hop? Yeah, we thought so -- you can thank us when you're reeling in the hangover on Sunday morning.

Geeks Who Drink Presents: Yellow Fever at the Gothic Theatre (Sunday) Do you think you know everything there is to know about The Simpsons? If you can spell Apu's last name in your sleep, if you can name the store Lisa bought her first saxophone without a pause, or if you're the one person in the universe who knows the name of Gabbo's puppeteer -- then this quiz is for you. All Simpsons, all night, with big cash prizes and a $5 entry fee. Glamazon at La Rumba (Sunday) Who say's Sunday's aren't for dancing and drinking? Glamazon takes everything you love, disco and roller skates and mashes it up with glitter and glitz. Grab your roller skates and $5 and you'll be set for a night of boogieing.
