True to the MCA credo of not taking art and ideas too seriously, the goings-on will include such summer camp-inspired adult silliness as a campfire sing-along and beer garden, photobooth and a Sasquatch crossing guard to keep folks safe. And up on the roof, there'll be live music, food and drink, and spectacular nighttime views; also on tap are hands-on Diarios workshops for kids and camp-style arts and crafts led by teens. The cause for all the carrying on? Four new exhibitions -- Guillermo Kuitca: Diarios, Tatiana Blass: Electrical Room, Gaspar Libedinsky: Productos Caseros and John McEnroe: Beauty Does -- that will treat museum-goers to a melange of recycled canvases, video installations and site-specific polymer sculptures through mid-September.
Admission is ten cents (or five pennies for "guests dressed as sexy scouts"); find details online at MCA Denver.
