Now Green Streets is planning next year's expanding wheel fete, and to get things rolling, the organization is throwing a holiday bash/fundraiser at Shine. It all starts at 5 p.m. with an outdoorsy, bike-centric silent auction; a free Latin dance class follows at 7 p.m., and at 8 p.m., Orquestra La Brava will give folks a chance to try out their moves to live "hard" salsa music, in a nod to the ciclovía's Latin roots.
Admission is $8, and proceeds will help fund free community programming at the event scheduled for next September 15. For more information, visit Boulder Green Streets online.
