Tigalo Block Party: Grand Opening Edition: The much-awaited party celebrating Tigalo -- the new hipster retail block comprising Fancy Tiger Crafts, Fancy Tiger Clothing and the Buffalo Exchange -- will finally make the marriage official with a blowout, three-store party-down from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight. And the even newer kid on the block, Sewn, which opened recently in the old Fancy Tiger Clothing site, will also be open until 9 p.m. Make a night of it! Of God and Monsters: Nearby, 'Indy Ink is finally getting its chance to make its mark with a solo show of graphic images in layered vellum by Adam Reker. The reception is from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. tonight and the show continues through March 10. For details, call 720-937-9722.Nothing Teaches Needs: An exhibition of works by Ravi Zupa and Lindsay St. Antoine, will hang through February 27 at Black Book Gallery on Santa Fe Drive. Icebreaker3: The third annual juried group show featuring esteemed regional artists at Ice Cube Gallery also opens Saturday with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. Call 303-292-1882. Freshly Squeezed: Art buddies Matt Doubek and Sam Mobley have fun with a tongue-in-cheek "pulp fiction art" theme, and will be serving up bacon and pancakes at tonight's opening from 6 to 10 p.m. at Pirate Contemporary Art. Call 303-458-6058.The Other Side Arts on Platte Street will roll out The Potato Show tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. The tasty exhibit of potato-inspired artwork is sided by a fundraiser to support Global Orphan Prevention's goal of building a primary school in Nepal.
