This event is the second annual Drinking Liberally National Conference. There are two parts to the conference: First, Erhardt and other DL members from all over the country will meet and discuss past, present and future chapter business; and second, everyone including those who are not necessarily part of a DL chapter but who still want to suck down a few cold ones heads to the Flying Dog Brewery, 2401 Blake Street, tonight at 8 p.m. for a party that will absolutely not be conservative in any way.
"In general, Drinking Liberally tends to pull in a crowd that are already activists," notes Erhardt. "That's great that we give those like-minded folks a nice social outlet, but at the same time, we'd like to find new people who aren't already involved in politics and see if this sort of fun social outlet can start to get them active." That means you, you left-leaning couch potato.
Cover for the Drinking Liberally Convention party is $10 to $15; for more information or to RSVP, call 303-882-7971 or e-mail [email protected].
