So how does a dog who won a Best of Denver award, has his own Tumblr and the power to glamor all of the Denver Pavilions with a twinkle of his big baby browns celebrate his birthday? Perhaps through further immortalization via his own personalized Denver Picard needle-felting kit, created in collaboration with I Heart Denver by the crafty gals at Fancy Tiger.

You read right. This very kit, which retails for $14 and features custom I Heart Denver packaging, hit the store's shelves yesterday. Fancy Tiger's Amber Corcoran, who designed the kit, says the finished Denver facsimile measures about seven inches from nose to tail, when fully felted, and gosh darn if it isn't cute as can be!

Corcoran agrees. "It's really adorable, and it might be the only corgi needle-felting kit that I know of in the world," she says. "We've done some other celebrity kits -- we did one of Barack Obama in 2008, for the DNC. But Denver Picard was a lot easier to do than Barack. He has these beautiful black eyeliner markings around his eyes, plus I guess I have a lot more experience felting cute animals."

Now you can take Denver Picard home with you. Could life possibly be any better? For information visit I Heart Denver online.
