Performance artist Gemma Wilcox, a perennial favorite and Best-of-Fest winner at the Boulder International Fringe Festival, moves effortlessly through more than two dozen characters in this one-woman show. Cleo Parker Robinson and a multicultural crew of local dance groups pay it back to the community with the Mile High Dance Festival, a free outdoor performance that features Robinson's renowned troupe, along with Hannah Kahn's modern company, classical ballet with Ballet Ariel, Mexican folk dance from Fiesta Colorado and flamenco with Maria Vasquez. That's right, it's free, on an outdoor stage; bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a night of pure, unadulterated culture.
