The Source starts the year off with The Other Bed, a regional premiere by Mark Ivan Branche about mismatched roommates in a retirement home. New resident Billee McNeill gracefully takes up the task of learning to live with a sour old bigot in the dramatic comedy written and directed by a veteran Broadway actor.
Lost and Found Productions, The Taming of the Shrew

Deb Flomberg directs this Shakespearean outing from Lost and Found, a new local company. But this show has a twist: Women play the male roles and men play the female roles in a gender-bending update of The Taming of the Shrew, set against the burgeoning women’s liberation movement of the ’60s. Think of it as the poster child for Lost and Found’s mission — to mount shows with a focus on “great plays that are not done often, new works and classics," according to managing director Elizabeth Neuhauser.

Start 2016 with a fantasy from the Aurora Fox, based on Scheherazade’s Persian tales of The Arabian Nights. Twelve actors take on sixty roles to bring sixteen of the 1001 classic tales to life in a production decidedly intended for adult audiences (recommmended for ages thirteen and up).
