Want to see Nick Urata and DeVotchKa at Red Rocks on September 20 with the Colorado Symphony and the Airborne Toxic Event? Of course you do...and we have a way you might be able to do it for free.

To enter our contest to tickets for the event, all you need to do is sign up to "like" Westword's Backbeat blog on Facebook and then sign up to leave comments on our blogs using Livefyre -- before Friday, September 14. See the link below for complete instructions.

Or if you like a challenge -- and maybe like to take things apart and put them back together again -- there's another option...

The buy-local boutique MegaFauna, located next door to the Meadowlark and well-known for its hand-screened T-shirts, has another contest going. Pick up an official DeVotchKa T-shirt at the store, take it home, rip it, print it, dye it, embroider it, scrunch it or otherwise redesign it anyway you like -- and then return it by September 16.

The entries will be judged by the band members, along with a team of local designers; free tickets will go to the winner, and four runners-up will receive DeVotchKa and MegaFauna merchandise. Get out your scissors and run, don't walk, to MegaFauna. And may the best crafter win. For information, visit the contest page on Facebook.
