Artists go to a specific part of the river and either work in plein air or take photos and work in the studio, explains Cindy Sewell, marketing and public-relations director for the League. The resulting works are primarily two-dimensional and focus on watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media and drawing.
The exhibit stays up through October 29 at the Art Students League, 200 Grant Street; for information, call 303-778-6990 or go to www.asld.org.
