Leave it to Boulder to host the annual Hanuman Festival, an explosion of yoga, talks and music that attracts some of the top names in the field. This year, the festival is also offering a full day of immersive events on Thursday, including a three-hour workshop with Saul David Raye. You’ll also catch Richard Freeman, Rod Stryker, Kathryn Budig, Tiffany Cruikshank, Trevor Hall and many more.

“There are some really well-established names that come to the festival,” notes spokeswoman Courtney Tisch, “and they connect with the students in a deeper way than they would at a conference.

“The festival also connects Boulder to the wider yoga community at large, fostering community that reaches beyond borders,” she adds. “It’s an opportunity for people to get together with other like-minded people and celebrate the practice of yoga. One of the beautiful things about this festival is how deeply rooted it is within the community and how much the community supports it.”

In addition to the yoga and music, there will be vendors and a community tent where free classes and talks will take place. The festival runs through Sunday on the green spaces around Boulder High School, 1604 Arapahoe Avenue. Opening-day passes are $15 to $55; one- to three-day passes range from $149 to $359.
