Unlike the Colorado Rockies, galleries near Coors Field have been knocking it out of the park this season. The Surface Beneath, at Robischon Gallery (open through September 1), is a must-see show featuring four artists, including Belgian-born Dirk De Bruycker, while Merge, at Plus Gallery (through August 17), brings together small works by three disparate artists: Matt O'Neill, Eric Shumake and Shannon Novak.
