The festival includes a wide array of workshops and classes open to the general public, including "Headdresses 101: An introduction to crafting stylish pieces for any occasion," "Stage Managing Burlesque" (ever want to learn how these shows actually "work" under the bright lights?) and "Owning Your Act Through the Power of Intention."For a full list of the classes, go to www.coloradoburlesquefestival.com/events/classes-2012 . And stop by the Sheraton hotel downtown for a meet-and-greet event following performer check-in from 3 to 5:30 p.m. today in 16 Mix, where there will be drink and appetizer specials.
Later today, don't miss the opening gala at the Summit Music Hall, 1902 Blake Street, hosted by Denver's very own Cora Vette with musical guest Vibes on Velvet.
