Banjo Billy's Ghost Tours Pick-up at Hotel Boulderado, various dates in October, $13-$24 Take a ride on this wacky bus as guides show off the best in haunted locations in the city below the Flatirons. Hear tales of tricky child-like ghosts and see spooky crime scenes on the ninety-minute trip through Boulder. Check the Banjo Billy's website for times and dates of its Denver tour, too.Creepy Crawl in Central City Meet at Century Casino, 102 Main Street, October 19 & 26, $10 With over 150 years of history, Central City has plenty of spooky spots, and this sixty-minute walking tour hosted by the Gilpin Historical Society will stoop at many of them. Tours depart every twenty minutes between 7 p.m. and 9:40 p.m., offering plenty of opportunities to get spooked in this Wild West town. Ghosts in the Gardens Denver Botanic Gardens, October 19, 21, 22, 26 & 28, $20-$25 More than a century before the Denver Botanic Gardens came to be, this plot of land was central Denver's cemetery. After dark, guides take visitors along winding paths through the DBG, sharing the scary history and tales of paranormal activity that has been experienced here for decades.
Ghosts and Legends Tour Morrison, various dates throughout October, $10-$15 This walking tour covers a lot of ground in ninety minutes, and includes tales of the Hatchet Lady of Red Rocks, haunted homes and paranormal accounts involving crime and murder in the small town. Tours begin at the Veteran's Memorial, located at the corner of Bear Creek Road and South Park Avenue.
Murder, Mayhem and Madness Tour Start at Golden Visitor's Center, various dates throughout October, $10-15 A wild West town just to the west of Denver, Golden has a rich history that's the perfect backdrop for this spooky walking tour. Mob killings, hangings and shootouts are all part of the stories told here; you'll also hear tales of paranormal activity in city buildings.
