On Friday you can attend a seminar discussing the history of how dogs became man's best friend, and on Saturday you can prove your loyalty to your pooch at workshops on training tips and safety, along with suggestions for how to introduce your furry friend to the outdoors. The first 100 'lil buddies to show up on Saturday will also go home with special treats. Bring the family so you can take home a paw-stamped picture with your pet.

Bingo! This is one of the best date nights imaginable, since it includes a round of bingo, go-go dancers, burlesque and the entire MCA Denver open for browsing. There's a full bar, too, which should take this date over the top.

Governor Jack is back with an all-new show — make that two new shows. Dave Theune will join the Governor Jack crew as he airs his dirty laundry and tells some of his most embarrassing and hilarious stories. Juan Morales, considered one of the best current Latino poets, will read from The Siren World, which takes a look at his roots and the history of Central America. The program coincides with happy hour at  BookBar — so let's toast poetry.
