Astrophysics and planetary-science grad students Becky Nevin, Thomas Rogers and Baylee Bordwell present out-of-this world information at this mash-up of learning and slurring featuring asteroids, rockets, galactic bugs and locally crafted beer from Wynkoop Brewing Co.

With around two million people running around metro Denver, there's bound to be someone from every country on the planet. Brighton BikeDown
Great Divide Barrel Bar
2 p.m. Saturday, $5
Denver has a strong biking community and a stronger beer community, and the two will meet today in the Brighton Bikedown, where you can check out services from local pedal shops while trying brews from a handful of breweries in the area. There will also be food trucks and music from Gun Street Ghost, Gritz Gaskan and Tnertle. Rock and roll!
Longmont Songwriters Festival
300 Suns Brewing
4 p.m. Saturday, free
There's some real talent north of Denver, and you can hear an impressive lineup at 300 Suns today. Longmont will get down with intimate performances by Foxfeather Music, Brian Rezac, Antonio Lopez, Eric Adrian Gonzales and Sandra Jean MacDougall.
FutureFest 2016
City Hall
6 p.m. Saturday, free
Freak shows, sci-fi fashion and technology galore converge on City Hall tonight, when you can experience virtual reality, meet drones and robots, investigate steampunk stuff and get back to the future — for free! RSVP here, fast.
Nathan Kalish and the Last Callers
Broken Shovels Farm
6 p.m. Saturday, $5
Broken Shovels is much more than a farm — though it does offer fresh produce and the cutest goats in town. But tonight you can also enjoy live music by Nathan Kalish and the Last Callers after you tour the farm and pet the animals. Bring a blanket and your favorite treats to enjoy along with the music.
The Underground Stand UP Comedy Showcase featuring Will Weldon

Final Beer Bust at Logan Street
The Denver Wrangler

The Sunday beer busts at 17th and Logan have been legendary: Buy a cup for $10 and drink all the Coors Light or Killian's you want, while partying...hard. But the Wrangler is about to move into Five Points, so the burly gay bar is opening up the parking lot next door for one last goodbye bash. You won't want to miss the party!
