Spring is almost here — but spring clothes have already made an appearance in stores across town. Put your best-dressed foot forward in March; here are a dozen events that are ideal spots to see and be seen, presented in chronological order and ending with a closing party for Whorl. But don't wait to stop by that LoHi boutique: Markdowns of between 25 and 75 percent start this Saturday, March 12.

12. Ralph Lauren Trunk Show
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 9
Neiman Marcus Cherry Creek
3030 East First Avenue
Head to the designer sportswear department on level two of Neiman Marcus to see the spring 2016 collection of all-American classics from Ralph Lauren. The New-York based designer who started selling neckties is now worth an estimated eight billion dollars. Shop his current collection and click here for more information. 
11. Christian Louboutin Trunk Show
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 10, through Saturday,  March 12
Neiman Marcus Cherry Creek 
3030 East First Avenue
Shop the latest collection of red-bottomed heels from French luxury shoe designer Christian Louboutin, in the shoe salon on the first floor of Neiman Marcus. Louboutin began as a brand in 1991 and now includes an array of shoes, along with handbags and wallets. Click here for more information. 
10. Goldyn X Mario Zoots Spring Project Opening 
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10 
2040 West 30th Avenue
Fashion destination Goldyn is teaming up with Zoots, a local artist who uses photographic collage and photography for an art installment and collaboration that will debut tonight. Drawing inspiration from Goldyn's spring 2016 collections, Zoots created a limited edition series of collages and art objects that utilize vintage photographs, old Hollywood film stills and his own photography. The result bears qualities of bothSurrealism and Dada. Zoots’s installation will take over Goldyn’s front display window, and will be on view through April. Tonight's opening celebration will include DJ Fancy Matthew spinning indie rock and electronic music on the turntables;  complimentary adult beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served. 9. The Source Pop-Up Shop
5 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 10, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12

Swing by the Source to shop handmade, industrial-style jewelry at this pop-up shop from local brand Lux & Luca Jewelry Co.  Lux & Luca specializes in crafting metals into accessories with phrases punched into them. This event is free; for more information, click here. 

8. Sixth Annual Prom Dress Exchange
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12
Noah’s of Westminster
11885 North Bradburn Boulevard, Westminster

For many teenagers, the highlight of high school is just around the corner: prom. The 2016 Prom Dress Exchange can help teens get an outfit for just $10, as they shop through gently-used and brand-new designer items including dresses, shoes, purses and jewelry. Entrance to the event is free with a valid student ID, and a $10 donation is requested if the student finds a dress. Click here for more information. 

7. Armani Collezioni Trunk Show
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 15

Check out the latest collection from Italian designer Giorgio Armani, on the first floor of Neiman Marcus in the designer sportswear department. The sub-label Armani Collezioni is more expensive than Armani Jeans and Armani Exchange, but less expensive than the high-end Giorgio Armani and the haute couture line, Armani Privé.  Armani Collezioni features a business style aimed for a more mature age group. Click here for more information.

6. Saint Laurent Trunk Show

The Parisian label founded in 1961 by Yves Saint Laurent is now under the creative direction of Hedi Slimane. The photographer and fashion designer filters Laurent's timeless pieces with a British rock-and-roll edge. Shop the latest collection in the shoe salon on the first floor of Neiman Marcus. 5. Denver Sneakerfest 8
11 a.m to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 19

The eight installment of Denver Sneakerfest invites sneaker-heads and collectors alike to stop by and shop, sell and trade rare sneakers, from Nikes to Jordans to Air Force Ones. Admission is $10; click here for more information. 

4. The Prom Event

3. RAW Denver Artists Showcase

This evening will be full of art in many forms, from more than seventy artists: visual, performance, film, hair, makeup and photography; Blackberry Maverick will showcase his latest fashion designs as well. Tickets are $25 tickets at the door; click here to purchase $20 tickets in advance.

2. Denver Style Magazine Mix and Mingle

1. Whorl Bon Voyage Party

Sadly,  the beloved Whorl, a fashion boutique in LoHi, is closing at the end of the month. But Whorl is going out with a bang — and a bash.
