Three Real Deals: Dress for Success Pop-Up Shop, Goldyn, and Goorin Bros. Sample Sales

Everyone loves a good sale, and shopping opportunities are looking particularly good in Denver this weekend. A trio of fashionable events include deals at Goldyn, a Dress for Success pop-up shop, and a Goorin Bros. sample sale to top off the bargains.

Dress for Success, the local charity that gives at-risk women a chance to become financially independent by providing them with business-wear, is hosting a VIP sale at its pop-up shop today and tomorrow; the shop is open to the public on Saturday. "I first fell in love with this job when I was interning and styling the women clients for their job interviews," says Amara Martin, program coordinator for Dress for Success. "The outfits I picked out for them instilled them with confidence to go out and get a job and better themselves and their families.

"I have been in the fashion industry for my whole life: modeling, styling and marketing, everything," she continues. "This fashion event allows me to sell our designer pieces for $10 to $20. We have clothes, jewelry, handbags and shoes up to 75 to 95 percent off of retail price. The most important thing is that this sale supports underprivileged women in our community. The money you spend we use to better serve the women in our community. You are doing a fabulous thing by coming and shopping."
