"This is first time designer Gugia will have her own solo fashion show. We wanted to make Ethiopian fashion more public. If people have an interest in African dresses, then this event is a must. Gugia's done impressive work. It's amazing and inspiring."

The collection is a combination of contemporary and traditional African and Ethiopian designs; select items from the runway will be available for sale.

The fashion show will feature Gazelle Model models, raffle tickets and prizes. Doors open at 7:30 p.m and show starts at 8 p.m.; afterwards, there will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres and refreshments from the Hilton Garden Inn. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
