If you've been bitching about the freezing temperatures this week here in Denver, get a dose of perspective tonight at 7 p.m., when Outside Magazine will be presenting the online premiere of Anson Fogel and Cory Richard's award-winning film Cold at OutsideOnline.com.

In February Richards -- a Boulder-based climber -- and climbing partners Simone Moro and Dennis Urubko braved temperatures as low as -51 degrees during their successful ascent of the 26,362' Himalayan peak Gasherbrum II, and Fogel's film about the misadventure has touched a nerve, winning the grand prize at the Banff Mountain Film Festival and Best Action Film at the 2011 Adventure Film Festival in Boulder.

Fogel, whose Forge Motion Pictures studio is in Carbondale, will join Richards, Moro, and writer Kelly Cordes for an online chat tonight at 7:30 p.m., following the premiere. The film, which is currently touring as part of Sender Films' 2011 Reel Rock Film Tour, will be available tomorrow for download from www.SenderFilms.com.

For more on the film, don't miss the Show + Tell interview with Fogel we ran just before the film's Boulder premiere in September.
