The first round of Spring Break festivities at Colorado ski areas begins this weekend. The snow is as good as it gets -- Breck already announced it's extending the season for an additional week, through April 27 -- and we've got the inside scoop on where to jump over a hot tub full of bikini models, where to find the best bargains, and other ways to get your Spring slush on.

Too hot in the hot tub! Sunlight Mountain Resort is opening Spring Break season with the unforgettable annual two-day Spring Thing rail jam on Saturday and Sunday, sponsored by Crystal River Spas. The rail jam event features -- you guessed it -- jumps and rail features over hot tubs full of bathing bikini beauties. Ahem.

How's your Aspen? The Bud Light Spring Jam at Aspen/Snowmass opens this weekend with the 15th annual KickAspen Big Air Invitational competition at 8 p.m. at Aspen Mountain, featuring 20 skiers and 20 snowboarders vying for a $7,000 prize purse as DJ Naka G lays down the soundtrack. Watch from the Bud Light Beer Garden at the base of Aspen Mountain.

Go what? Copper Mountain's Spring Break bash kicks off with the free all-ages Go Huck Yourself quarterpipe and hip jump contest on Saturday, utilizing the 22-foot super pipe and promising good spectacle from the Copper Village base area. Not riding? Grab a drink -- all of Copper's bars are offering St. Patrick's Day specials -- and find a good spot to watch.

Spring Park! Winter Park's weekend festivities include the 7 Territories InstaHunt social media challenge that will send skiers and snowboarders all over the mountain on Saturday, the Vans King of the Grommets kids contest (age groups are 12 and under, 13+, registration is $45) on Saturday in the Re-Railer Terrain Park, and a St. Patrick's Day bash at the base area. And, for the Spring Break set, check out the $299 Spring Break Pass, good for four days of shred between now and April 6.

Bump it up! Wishing you knew how to handle the moguls better? Ski Cooper's Bump Skiing Institute starts Saturday with Introduction to Mogul Skiing, followed by Intermediate Mogul Skiing Techniques on March 22 and Advanced Mogul Skiing on March 29. The sessions are $100 each or $250 for all three.

Less hot tub, more hot chocolate! If your Spring Breaks tend to be a bit tamer these days, check out Beaver Creek's kid-friendly SpringFest is underway now through April 19. The resort is offering 35 percent off lodging deals (book before April 5 for travel before April 20) to match.
