The brewers including a couple of new ones, like Denvers Strange Brewing, and New Planet and Asher, both in Boulder will bring some of their seasonal summer beers, as well as their classics. Tickets to the main event come with a souvenir glass and cost $30, but there are also VIP tickets, for $40, that give people access to an extra hour of drinking and a cheese pairing sponsored by Haystack Mountain Goat Cheese.
The fest runs from 7 to 10 p.m. (VIP action starts at 6) at Mile High Station, 2027 West Lower Colfax Avenue, near Invesco Field. There will be music from Chadzilla and the Asteroids; some proceeds benefit the Swallow Hill Music Association. For more information, log on to www.denverbrewfest.com.
