Other festival highlights include a couple of de rigueur Jewish food-related talks, with Einsteins Bagels maven Noah Alper (a 7:30 a.m. breakfast on November 10) and Save the Deli author David Sax (what else? a deli luncheon at noon on November 13); an exhibit detailing early Denvers Jewish history; a concert with the Israeli worldbeat aggregate the Idan Raichel Project at DUs Newman Center; a comic evening with comedienne/author Carol Liefer and a family-friendly Fiddler on the Roof sing-along, to name a few.
The Mizel Center is at 350 South Dahlia Street, in the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center; for a complete schedule, ticket information or to make reservations, go to www.maccjcc.org or call 303-316-6360.
