Ski resorts are often havens of fine dining for starving skiers, and Cucina Rustica is exactly that ? an oasis of upscale Tuscan-inspired food located in the Lodge at Vail. Cucina Rustica offers in-room dining seven days a week; lunch and dinner menus that change with the seasons; and a formidable menu of à la carte breakfast items including steel-cut oatmeal with kiln-dried fruits, brioche French toast, BYO omelets and eggs Benedict. The weekly brunch menu features spit-roasted meats, seafood, homemade pasta dishes, gourmet pizzas, salads and desserts, with champagne included in the buffet price. During the warmer seasons, the deck is open so that diners can graze with a view of the great Colorado outdoors.
