M Uptown was formerly Hamburger Mary's, but split from the California-based chain in late 2015. Other than the name change and rebranding, though, little has changed about the spot. Drag-queen revues and bingo, improv troupes and karaoke are regular occurrences on M's cabaret stage, and the food and cocktails still boast campy and colorful names (a Kick in the Dickel, anyone?) Go for the ambience, the incredible patio and the larger-than-life burgers.
