While he certainly had the gall to win it all, our boy Magic Cyclops returns to Denver without the US Air Guitar crown. His interpretation of Thin Lizzy's "Thunder and Lightning" at the US finals in San Francisco last week earned him a score of 15.4, which put him a notch above hall of famer, Randy "Big Rig" Layman, who represented Aspen this time around. Unfortunately, that wasn't good enough to bring home gold -- or to move past the first round, for that matter. It's all good, though. We've seen the competition, and it's no stretch to say that Cyclops is a far sight cooler than all the other doofuses he was pitted against. Next year, brother. Next year. -- Dave Herrera
