The goal of this afternoon's event, which grew out of a series of recent Denver "Occupy" singles released by artists like Dyalekt, Molina, Jonny 5 of the Flobots, Aja Black of the Reminders, Kalyn Heffernan of WheelChair Sports Camp, Diles, DJ Icewater, Bravo One and Es-Nine, is to stimulate a conversation among folks, to get people thinking and talking about the idea of building a sustainable inclusive environment of the 99 percent in the community by the 99 percent.
"These three singles served as a bridge between the people organizing and facilitating the Occupy Movement and folks on the outside curious about Occupy and questioning what this "movement" was all about," says Mane Rok. "With the support of P.J. D'Amico and Louise Martorano of the RedLine gallery space, the organizing team of Denver activists has grown to several dozen."
