That's right: Broken Silence Recodings is looking for you. Well, provided that you have quality songs, a good live show and the right image/look. A little about the criteria for that last one? Here's a hint: Broke Silence, the label that sponsoring this contest and potentially looking to sign your band, is the home of Brokencyde, Eyes Set to Kill, Unwritten Law and the Mile High City's own, Kill Paradise. If you don't recognize any of these bands except for Unwritten Law, then chances are better than good that image isn't even a concern to you anyway, so feel free to move about the cabin. If, however, those bands register and Brokencyde doesn't test your gag reflexes, then you may be interested in entering.

Basically, here's how it works: When Eyes Set to Kill comes to town -- in our case, that's Thursday, October 29 at Club 156 in Boulder -- the label and promoter pick two local openers. At the end of the show, Break Silence, with the help of the crowd and Eyes Set to Kill, will pick a winner based upon the above criteria, who will then be considered amongst the winners from each city when the tour wraps. The grand prize: a record deal with BreakSilence, a feature in Revolver Magazine, which is co-sponsoring the contest, an endorsement deal with Ernie Ball and much more. Check out the video after the jump for more details.
