We sincerely hope you got in some recovery time and beauty sleep last weekend and this week, because this weekend's Dance Card is out-of-control. Between the Electric Daisy Carnival, Inception and the first Full Moon Gathering of the summer, you'll have plenty of options for booty-shaking good times.

Inception, an Afterhours Anonymous/Mahesh Presents collaboration, brings German house virtuoso Marcus Worgull for his first-ever Colorado appearance; he'll spin his deep, soulful tunes supported by Droog featuring Justin Sloe, Joey M., Brandon Bass and Tony Rodelli. Get yourself on the guest list to get in the door of this exclusive, private party event; e-mail [email protected]. (10 p.m., 21+, $20 limited presale, higher at the door)

Hip Chicks Out is at the Living Room tonight, with a tapas bar and Sean Choi (DJ Lazy Eyez) providing the hip-hop. (8 p.m., 21+)

Take your Friday Fling date to the Funky Buddha this Friday for resident DJ Shake One throwing down on the patio. (7 p.m., 21+)

Head to the cozy, two-floor Bar Standard for a taste of the Middle East with their brand-new Genie and a Bottle night (the grand kick-off is next week, but you can get a sneak preview tonight). Persian, Arabic and Far East beats are the theme for the night, so grab your favorite belly dancer for a magic carpet ride. (9 p.m., 21+)

Fridays are always Forever at Beta, this time with Sound Candy Feat. DJ Frank E and DJ Petey. Get down and groove on the hottest night in LoDo, or take a break and chill out in the lounge with P.U.N.C.H.I.S presenting ZoOloGiKo, Greg Campbell, Seth Nichols and Jen Irish. (9 p.m., 21+, $5)

And the Church is bringing back the Twenty42 Dance Music Collective for the aptly named Twenty42 sessions this summer; spinning tonight are Brian Howe, Johnny Breaks, Proteje and Hobo Bob. (9 p.m., 18+, ladies and men 21+ free on the guest list, or $5 for men under 21; sign up via the event Facebook page)

Saturday's long-anticipated first Full Moon Gathering of the season is kicking off at Van Eden Ranch in Idaho Springs; the all-night camping party will feature two stages, with Equulei, Textiles, Cacheflow, Ten and Tracer and Newnumbertwo holding down the chillout stage, and Joey M., Maya Amack, Shaggz and Nick Payne rocking the main stage. (8 p.m., 21+, $10 suggested donation)

Triad Dragons, Reload and Beta have teamed up to bring you the annual Electric Daisy Carnival this Saturday. With five themed stages and huge headliners Sander Van Doorn, Kaskade and Ferry Corsten on the main, you couldn't possibly get bored. On the off chance that you do, there are free, full-size carnival rides, art installations and roaming performers to catch your attention. Other stages feature Z-Trip, LA Riots, Feed Me, Noisia, Datsik, Ana Sia, Kraddy and more. Everyone knows dance music and carnivals equal fun! (4 p.m., 18+ with 21+ VIP available, $60)

Southpaw graces Vinyl with his presence this Saturday, pumping out some electro/progressive house. He's joined by Lance Phillips, Mateo and Zen for an amped-up evening. Feeling something different? DJ Danny is in the basement providing some hip-hop, and Dan Peacock is on the roof with some ever-popular party hits. (9 p.m., 18+)

FUNhouse Saturdays at Beta will live up to its moniker this Saturday, with Danny Howells' unique sound and eclectic style headlining the night, plus support by Bones from Roots Denver. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)

Freebass presents Domination on Saturday night at 2405 Blake Street, with DJ Wreck, X-Static, D.O.H., Brandon Scott, Natural Nate vs. Mike Devious, Dave Parrish, Proteje, Just Al and more; it should be a thumping, bass-heavy time with so much dubstep and drum-and-bass on display. (8 p.m., 18+, no cover)

DJ Wushu joins the crew on the main floor of the Funky Buddha for House of Buddha Saturdays. The super-chill second-floor patio will feature rotating house DJs, and drinks are only $1 for ladies from 9 to 11 p.m. (9 p.m., 21+)

Milk features DJs Mike Rich and Roland K this Saturday for a night of '80s retro music and gothic industrial sounds. It might be hard to decide whether you need hot pink lips or the standard gothic black, but it definitely won't be hard to dance the night away. (9 p.m., 21+, $5)

Wind down your weekend at Sunset Picnic on the Cherry Creek Reservoir, a potluck picnic with tunes by Time for Trees, Styles Davis, Uriah West, Timbuk, Ejay and Ces; they'll be stationed at the Twelve Mile House. (2 p.m., all ages -- kids and dogs welcome, $9 parking pass)

And Afterhours Anonymous/Mahesh Presents will be recovered enough from its Friday extravaganza to offer up tunes on Sunday afternoon at GrooveTop (the top floor of Bar Standard) with Up In the Air, featuring Hipp-E, Bones, Greg Eversoul, Sami T and Hoang. (3 p.m., 21+, $5 cover)

Finally, Chances is hosting its weekly Sunday House of BOOM, featuring a rotating lineup of local talent. (2 p.m., no cover)
