Patrick Doyle, the president of Domino's Pizza and the man responsible for the above quote, is either a genius or completely insane. Jury's still out on which. Regardless, you've got to admire the refreshing new approach his company is taking -- not only listening to but, like, actually responding to feedback from its harshest critics. Inspired by Doyle and company, we want to make a better pizza.
That said, we're in the beginning stages of putting this year's Westword Music Showcase together, and rather than waiting until everything's already in motion to hear that our crust tastes like cardboard, we thought we'd ask you what you think now. So, what do you think?
How do you feel about the categories on the ballot? Are there enough or too many? While we're on the subject, do some of the categories need to be tweaked? If so, how? On a similar note: Do you think some acts have been miscategorized in years past? How about genres? Have we overlooked any?
What about acts? Are there some that are worthy that you feel were overlooked last year? Who are the acts that you think we'd be remiss not to consider? What else? How can we make this year's Westword Music Showcase better?
