Prior to heading over to Sushi Hai, Low Key was playing rare grooves over at Hapa in Cherry Creek and building on an already budding crowd of hip-hop loving sushi fanatics on Sunday nights. If things go well at Sushi Hai, he plans to incorporate the same feel good music that keeps happy hours, well, happy.
"I'm going to be at Hai bar this Sunday," he explains. "I'm not quite sure if I'm gonna be there every Sunday or not. We'll see how this one goes. I'll be playing R&B music, a little bit of hip-hop, and feel good music while you sit down and enjoy happy hour."
This Sunday will feature a premier recording of the live performance from The Foreign Exchange show that went down on March 14, as well as Low Key's music touch. Expect a killer happy-hour crowd.
Un-sushi related, but hip-hop, nonetheless, Low Key and Lazy Eyez's popular club night, The Solution, is only convening for special events at the moment but plans to come back with a bang for its annual Chicken & Waffles West Coast get down in April.
