First stop was Fantasia 2011 at Rhinoceropolis--for a multi-room, audio and visual conglomeration of music, imagery, and food. Yes, even a tree covered in doughnuts made an appearance, amid projections by Milton Melvin Croissaint III and music from Voices Of, Alphabets and more.
Next we headed to a house show at Brass Tree, where we caught Thee Goochi Boiz for a wild set in the tiny, checkered tile room.
We finished the evening at the hi-dive, where Fingers of the Sun played a gorgeous, hour-plus long set of tracks from its self-titled debut. It was the perfect dreamy end to a night of awesome shows in Denver.
