Metal fans rejoice, for you have much to be thankful for this week, especially tonight! In case you happened to miss it last week, we published two in-depth Q&As with two of metal's most revered acts, both of which just happen to be playing our great state tonight. Down south, Converge is due at the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs this evening with Ruining Seed and Spoken in Fire. Check out our conversation with that act's frontman Jacob Bannon, who discussed writing from a real life perspective and his thoughts on playing shows with Dethklok and how Brendon Small is the real deal. If a mini road trip to the Springs sounds like a bit much for you on a school night, the one and only Cannibal Corpse will be gracing the Ogden Theatre with its presence tonight, in the company of fellow titans Hatebreed and Unearth, with Born of Osiris and Hate Eternal. We caught up with Corpse bassist Alex Webster, who told us about being banned in Germany and working with Vince Locke and gave us some insight on his unique playing style.
