A few months ago, Mike Marchant played a CD release show at the Meadowlark with A.Tom Collins, John Common and Ashley Raines. The show kind of turned out to be a misnomer. An unsaid illness prevented Marchant from finishing the album on time, and so he didn't actually end up releasing the new disc. Instead offered a some free downloads.

Well he's since finished the record, titled Indulgent Space-Folk Vol. 2, and has scheduled another release show at the hi-dive on Friday, May 7, featuring Mike Marchant's Outer Space Party Unit, a band made up of a few of Marchant's moonlighting friends. Hop over to Marchant's MySpace page to hear a couple of songs from the new disc.
