Last night ended up being another greatest hits installment, in which I played as many of my favorite cuts from the past eight months worth of shows that I could jam into two hours. That number, as it turns out, is 28, in case you were wondering. Didn't really plan it that way, but that's the way it turned out. I guess you can blame it on a recent roadtrip I took in which I listened to several archived editions of the show and went, "Hmm... those are some damn fine songs. I should play those again sometime." So to paraphrase Tracy Chapman, that's just what I did. The estimable Jon Solomon sat in for my distinguished colleague Andy Thomas, who was once again a face on a milk carton due to some sort of rock and roll-related engagement or another.
