New Denver shows: Peter Hook, Ani DiFranco, Blood on the Dance Floor and more

Bassist Peter Hook, who played Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures at the Bluebird in 2011, returns to the area with his group, the Light, to perform New Order's Movement and Power, Corruption & Lies at the Gothic Theatre on Saturday, September 28. Ani DiFranco is set to headline the Boulder Theater on Sunday, October 13. Tickets for the show ($30-$50) go on sale on Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m.

Phoenix-based electronica group Blood on the Dance Floor will be at Summit Music Hall with Heavygrinder and Farewell My Love on Saturday, October 5, and tickets ($17/$20) go on sale on Friday, May 24 at 10 a.m.
