Ah! It's the most wonderful time of the year! When we indulge in too much champagne and cheap party favors, whilst singing songs of old. "Auld Lang Syne" anyone? Well if you're like us, you know it's been a festive 2011 and most are ready to shuffle in the next 365 days with glee and gusto. We've got you all the way covered with cool, funky and hip-hop happenings on the last day of the year.

For you early celebrators, live neo/funk band Ten Pound Elephant, led by front woman Isis Speaks, will be at at Jazz @ Jacks on on Friday, December 30 during the "happiest of hours." The band will rock a happy hour at the bar to usher in New Year's Eve and all its frills, and there are $4 drink specials.

The Rex Lounge boasts that New Year's Eve 2011 will be "Last Night to Fight" and will feature hip-hop shenanigans from Turner Jackson, Danny Taylor, Bigg Chriss, and more. There's no cover, tons of free parking, and if you're lucky, you'll leave with a bloody nose. We're kidding... kind of.

Presented by Fly Magazine and Young Lion Productions, The Good Life Celebration is going down at Casselman's for the second year in a row. This year's get down will feature DJ Big Spade and DJ SD, along with a 5000 balloon drop and all sorts of party antics. Doors open at 8pm.

DJ Soup is playing at The Robusto Room in Park Meadows for a shin-dig billed as, the "Happy Ending." There will be a free champagne toast at midnight and there's no cover for this intimate dancing affair.

It's been a great year for GirlGrabbers, and the trio will rock the Atomic Cowboy for a good old fashioned New Year's Eve party of cool sounds, tons of dancing, and a fun vibe.

The Official Cirocstar New Year's Eve party is going down at Rockstar Lounge, and from the looks of it the hosts are prepared to send 2011 out with a bang. Hosted by 3Deep Productions, Kevin Kain and Box Media Empire, tickets are $25 and DJ Topshelf and KDJ Above will provide the sounds.
