Although Arish Ahmad "King" Khan (of King Khan and the Shrines fame) lives in Berlin -- which isn't too far from Amsterdam -- he says it's not common for the crew he runs around with to travel to the Netherlands for pot. But he was beyond thrilled to purchase marijuana legally from a dispensary while he and his band were in town to play the Westword Music Showcase.

The tour bus stopped at CannaMart, 3700 Quincy Avenue, Suite 3702, before the band headed north to Wyoming for the journey to Salt Lake City and the next show date. And for that reason, Khan opted for a chocolate to split among several bandmates instead of any flower they might have to stash (or smoke) before the crossing of the border.

"I can't believe I bought pot legally in America!" he said enthusiastically.
