JOSH WINK @ NORAD | SAT, 7/6/13 Before the days of CDJs and beat-matching software, mix masters spun sets on vinyl turntables for packed warehouse parties filled with dancers. Those were the days when Josh Wink first rose to prominence. The legend's Philadelphia roots have been well documented elsewhere, and although he's been all over the world since forming Ovum Recordings in 1994 with fellow Philly impresario King Britt, he's always returned to his original stamping grounds and maintained a home base there.

Those who have seen Wink behind the decks need no convincing that his longevity is well earned -- and those who haven't will quickly learn to love his irresistible combination of old-school mixing skills and cutting-edge track selection that showcases his impeccable taste. Wink appears at NORAD this Saturday, July 6, with Jimmy Maheras and Quin. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 and up)

KILL THE NOISE @ BETA | FRI, 7/5/13 Finding success in signing with Skrillex's OWSLA record label, Kill the Noise has grown into one of the heaviest producers currently touring. Jake Stanczak, the brains behind the whole operation, developed Kill the Noise's sound for years. His powerhouse club bangers melt with melodic pianos and tease the fringes of metal anthems. This burgeoning genre -- this heavy meets lovely blend -- blasts from the speakers, leaving you in a state of seizing bliss. Catch him at Beta with Fury and MC Dozha. In the Beatport Lounge, Josh Manke and Sergei Loginov host underground techno love. (9 p.m., 18+, $20) -- Britt Chester

PANTyRAID @ THE BOULDER THEATRE | SAT, 7/6/13 Josh Mayer and Marty Folb are some of the freshest producers on the grind right now. In addition to driving their own projects, Glitch Mob and MartyParty, the two hip-hop heads co-pilot PANTyRAiD together. Following the success of their first two releases, The Sauce and Superior, PANTyRAiD is prepping for a new album release that will once again merge the worlds of hip-hop and heavy bass-infused electronic music. They'll light up the Boulder Theatre with TYR and Shank Aaron. (9 p.m., all ages, 27.50-$30) -- Chester

FRIDAY, JULY 5

NORAD hosts the Cosmic Kids with option4, Captain Safety, Keepers and Rob Shanz. In the lounge you'll find Cassette Friday with alexM, Fonzie, Chris Irvin, HookerTRASH and Alan Endorfun -- the first ten people who bring a cassette tape will get in for free! (9 p.m., 21+)

Denver Disco presents Papa Skunk in a special disco set at Bar Standard. If you need to let loose on the dancefloor, this is the place. (9 p.m., 21+, $3-$5)

SATURDAY, JULY 6

Ookay joins Kennedy Jones, Regulators, Vinnie Maniscalco, K-Mac, the Digital Connection and K-Smash at City Hall for a bash that's worthy of your dance energy. (8 p.m., 16+, $5-$20)

Worthy headlines a Fourth of July recovery party at Beta with Cognition + T-Rav and Marshall Monica. We're not sure how much actual recovery will take place, but come on out and dance. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)
