The Eleven Best July 4 Concerts in Denver

It's almost July 4, so we've rounded up the best places to party about it. Here are the best places in the Denver area for drinking beer, listening to music or both on this most American of weekends. 

Zac Brown Band at Coors Field
Zac Brown Band (with hometown opener Big Head Todd and the Monsters) will play the first proper concert at Coors Field on Friday, July 3.
Cost: $40.

Fiddlers Family Friendly Fourth with the Colorado Symphony
Fiddler's Green Amphitheater throws an all-American party designed for families on July 4. This year's show — put on by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra — will feature music from Frozen, the Magical World of Pixar, Harry Potter, Star Wars as well as many of your patriotic favorites.
Cost: $25-$36.
Umphrey's McGee at Red Rocks
Umphrey's McGee returns to the rocks this weekend, playing Friday July 3, with Papadosio and TAUK to kick it all off. This is Umphrey's sixth year of celebrating in Colorado. 
Cost is $40-$45

Blues Traveler at Red Rocks
Blues Traveler always puts on one hell of a July 4 show, and Red Rocks happens to have an expansive view of the city's many fireworks displays. This is Blues Traveler's 21st-anniversary show, so we expect big things, and the nineties are alive and well with openers Hanson and Guster, as well as local goofballs 3OH!3.
Cost: $50.

The Other Black Single Release Party at the hi-dive
Head to the hi-dive for a less conventional July 4 show, featuring soul party-starter the Other Black plus openers SnuBluck and LazerWolf. 
Cost: $8.
Naive Melodies at The Big Wonderful
The coolest Talking Heads cover band in the Mile High City, Naive Melodies, is playing a free show at the Big Wonderful on, Saturday July 4, from noon to 10 p.m. Find food trucks, games, vendors, booze and more live music at this kid and dog-friendly event!

Goodness at the Meadowlark
The first Sunday Funday of July will not disappoint at the dance party Goodness. The Goodness's hip, summer vibes can be found on the whimsical back patio of popular RiNo bar Meadowlark. Listen to music by DJ Low Key, party in your July 4 gear, and soak up some sun from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Chloe Discotheque
Hang out with some of the most beautiful club-goers in the city at Chloe for a July 4 party. Attire is sexy, fancy and red, white and blue-themed.
Cost: $10 cover, ladies FREE.

Freedom Fest at Locavore Beer Works
This new Denver brewery's inaugural Freedom Fest starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Raise your glass to the micro-brewery capital of the United States with brewery tours and rare beer tappings at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and into the afternoon. Rocky Mountain Catering will be selling baby-back ribs with the fixings while supplies last, and t-shirts will even be available for tie-dying.

Viewhouse
Viewhouse will showcase July 4 at its finest. The crowd will be decked out in sexy patriotic garb and tends to arrive around 6 to 7 p.m. The ballpark location offers one of the best views of the Rockies' fireworks show, and the bar will be serving up some American drink specials. Head over on Friday night, too, for a free musical performance by the Country Music Project.

Westminster Brewing
Beer and music fest begins at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. There will be live music by Josh Blackburn, Lindsey Saunders Music, Sean G. and Kieran from Big Paddy and Andy Sydow.
