This weekend, a cluster of bands from Denver's past and present will be gathering at Herman's Hideaway to celebrate the life of Sharon Rawles, who passed away at the end of September. A cherished member of the music community, Rawles had an undeniable impact on the scene over the years, particularly on the lives and careers of all the acts slated to perform. Tonight's bill features Dick Ramada & Chris Daniels, Byron Shaw Projex, Judge Roughneck, Lion Souljahs, and the reunited for this night Rocket Ajax and On Second Thought. Tomorrow's bill kicks off with Rexway, followed by Carolyn's Mother, Buckwild, Opie Gone Bad with Hazel Miller, the Railbenders and Wanker. Proceeds from both shows will be directed towards helping cover Sharon’s burial expenses, as well as her favorite charities. -- Dave Herrera
