Tonight at the Oriental Theater, Eric Shiveley's excellent film Everyone But You will be screened for the very first time in Denver. The movie, as I assessed several years ago, serves as an exceptional portrait of a struggling artist. Written, filmed and edited entirely by Shiveley with little to no budget, Everyone But You is well worth seeing, as evidenced by the number of awards it's garnered at various film festivals across the country. Those who arrive early this evening and pony up twenty bucks, will be treated to dinner, drink specials and a set from Andy Ard, whose music appears in the film. Everyone else who arrives after 8 p.m. can see the movie for a mere five bucks. All proceeds from the screening will benefit Northwest Denver public elementary schools. Still on the fence? Check out the trailer after the jump.
