Apples in Stereo: Memba them? What are we saying? Of course you do. Only one of the most righteous bands to ever come out of this square state.

Despite the fact that Robert Schneider broke countless hearts around here when he moved (most of) the operation out of state, the Apples are still very near and dear to our hearts.

That's why it gives us unspeakable joy to post today's Freeloader item: A signed vinyl copy of Travellers in Space and Time, the outfit's latest effort on Yep Roc, and a pair of tickets to tomorrow night's show at the Bluebird. Click through for details on how to win.

Update: We've picked a winner. The correct answer was indeed Brian Wilson and 10/21/2004. Congrats to Matthew Rubin, and thanks to everybody else who entered. Look for more cool giveaways to more great shows.

In 2004, we somehow convinced Robert Schneider to interview one of his idols -- didn't take too much arm twisting; you caught the part about the subject being one of his idols, right? To be in the running for today's giveaway, in the comments below tell us who he interviewed and the exact date when the story was published.

Hint: You'll find the answer hidden deep within our massive archives. Oh, and as always, be sure to include your actual email so we can get in touch with you should you win. Speaking of winners, we'll pick one around 4 p.m. today. Happy hunting!
