Douglas Bruce is a victim. At least that's the story he told yesterday at a news conference in Colorado Springs, where he complained about the city violating his constitutional rights. The Springs' sin? Handing Bruce and a buddy a trespassing ticket for insisting on collecting signatures for a ballot proposal...

Douglas Bruce is a victim. At least that's the story he told yesterday at a news conference in Colorado Springs, where he complained about the city violating his constitutional rights. The Springs' sin? Handing Bruce and a buddy a trespassing ticket for insisting on collecting signatures for a ballot proposal at a Costco, whose management wanted him gone. Disgruntlement in aisle six!

Of course, Bruce can dish it out, as he proved in January 2008, when he kicked at a Rocky Mountain News photographer who dared to snap his photo during the opening prayer of that year's legislative session. But he's not nearly as happy when it's his ass and someone else's foot.
