The edibles industry's new packaging regulations go into effect this week, a hash art competition is scheduled downtown and Valentine's Day dinners pop up in this week's cannabis calender.

Don't be surprised if something seems off next time you're in a local dispensary looking for some pot-infused treats. As of February 1, all cannabis-infused edibles must adhere to new packaging and potency regulations-- with stronger child-resistant packaging and individual servings of no more than 10 milligrams of THC. Any edible containing more than 10 mg must individually mark each 10-mg portion. State officials agreed on stricter packaging after numerous public safety controversies.
