Moments from now, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment plans to announce a new cannabis education campaign aimed at adults. There are also green-friendly painting classes and more in this week's Cannabis Calender.

The CDPHE's "Good to Know" campaign, aimed at educated Colorado's adult residents and visitors about safe and responsible marijuana use, will be unveiled at a noon press conference today at the CDPHE Operations Center, 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South, Denver.

Grab a few friends and learn how to paint in a cannabis-friendly environment every Saturday this month with local artist Heidi Keyes during one of her Puff, Pass & Paintclasses. Intimate group sessions are $50 per person in her downtown studio, and private lessons are available upon request. Participants must be 21-and-older, and although cannabis consumption (bring your own) is encouraged, it's not required. Click here for more information.

The 2015 Cannabis Business Conference has been scheduled from Saturday, January 17, through Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street.
