A window into the marijuana industry's present and future will be open until Wednesday this week as the National Cannabis Industry Association's Cannabis Business Summit comes to Denver. Check that out and more in this week's Cannabis Calendar.

The National Cannabis Industry Association's Cannabis Business Summit will take place in Denver today through Wednesday, July 1, at the Colorado Convention Center. Just about every topic pertaining to regulated cannabis will be covered in depth at this pot-money hotbed — from accounting and finance to security and sustainability. Dozens of keynote speakers will be available for questions during panel discussions, and there will be daily networking opportunities. Tickets start at $895. Colorado Rocky Mountain High Singles will be hosting a free meet-and-greet tonight at 7 p.m. before a showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the Walnut Room's Monday Night Movie Night. The gathering is designed for single potheads, and there will be free popcorn and drink specials. Learn more here.

Interested in learning how to grow cannabis at a commercial level? Clover Leaf University teaches Cannabis Cultivation 102: Warehouse Cultivation at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in the office buildings at 3888 East Mexico Avenue. The four-hour course focuses on the components of cannabis growing mediums, watering, lighting, ventilation and cycles. Curriculum also includes pest-control methods, advanced harvesting techniques and the importance of curing. The cost to attend is $299, and attendees will receive a certificate upon completion. Funky Buddha Lounge will host High Social Happy Hour by Blazer — a happy hour for the cannabis industry — on Tuesday, June 30, at 6 p.m. The free, 21+ networking social will feature live music from Drop Logik. Dressing up is encouraged. For more information, click here.


The NCIA will also bring festivities to Denver's pot industry on Tuesday, June 30, with the NCIA & Bhang Corporation Present: Cannabis Carnival II at the Fillmore Auditorium. The celebration will feature live music from Medeski Martin & Wood, Everyone Orchestra, Quixotic and Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation.
